You sure did not miss coffee in Idaho its 8AM here .
Raining ......again .....and it looks like we are in for more of the same .

The one road in here had another slide yesterday but they now have one lane open . Everything is just soaked from 30 plus days of rain .

Nothing worse than rain to make you feel miserable first thing in the morning....any other weather seems to not have the same effect.

61f here with grey cloud.....dry no wind so not to bad.......kitchen is mayhem as my wife wants the walls stripped and the whole thing re-lined and painted....she can strip and i will join in after that:brows:

61, warm, better get out and enjoy

Yes I been trying to get as much done outside on the old place as weather allows but it is starting to wear me down . But we knew moving here full time that they recieved a lot of rain in April , May and June . I guess thats why its so green here in the summer .

I did hire two men to help me take down the old Tack/ Bunk house next week ,rain or shine .. That will make about 9 buildings that we have removed from the place since I bought it .

I also dozed open the road to the nieghboring ranch that I boughtthis past year . I'll start removing the house on it soon .

The Robins are coming back in and yesterday I saw my first Mountain Blue Bird of the season . They are the prettiest blue up here ,I have ever seen.

Heres a pic of the old tack/bunk house thats coming down . Man if that thing could talk !

On a positive note.....my son had an interview for a job at a local service station this morning.....Esso out-let and he got the job:smile:

Part time 20 hours per week to fit around his education....not a full time career move as he hopes to work in the field of forensic science but will give him independence and working experience....he is just turned 18 years old and a very good move at this age.

He starts by doing 2 days of training next week....we know the bosses there and he will be well taken care of with a good basic salary....Yes i am proud......kids grow up so fast and there are very few jobs out there so yes he is lucky.

Looks like them old out buildings may have some good re-claim timber/materials for use on future projects Al.....Muleman would love to get his hands on some of that i bet.....so would i.

Thanks for the pics Al....I always enjoy seeing pics from members.

Congrats to your son Galvi! And yes they grow up very fast. My daughter just turned 17 and got her driver's license. HELP!

JB my son is just in the process of taking driving lessons.....his teacher i chose for the reason he teaches to drive safe not just to pass the test....his teacher wont even teach kids if he feels they are going to be a hazard on the roads.....more sleepless nights worrying are they safe on the road.....being a parent never ends.

Lumber is pretty reasonable in price up here . I had a lot of my own timber cut to my custom order .I gave away anything folks wanted from it .

This has been my latest project . Its just about done now as this is a older pic before the siding/finish went on .

Thats why I can take down the other buildings , This one is 5000 sq. ft barn and a 1600 sq ft apartment about it .

You sir are on the ball for sure.....create a new build and have it covered in cost pretty much from the outset is damn smart...i like it.

I see a little gap in them dates for Holiday makers if you so choose.....great investment.

Good morning guys and gals... It's a beautiful sunny day here. Just wanted to say Hello... no time for my drinking chocolate today folks, got a full day, but, raincheck?

Hope everyone is doing ok?

Catch up later with y'all... Have a super day! :)

Good morning All - Happily making wooden things. Maybe pix later.

Good morning. I have to wait till after 100 pm here. Might disturb the church goers. And you don't want to piss off those people. They have no sense of humor, and are the most vindictive group of people I've ever met.

Good Morning all, Sorry It's still early and I'm a gallon low, but I am working on catching up
