Good Morning NTT!!!

Monday it is! Up to my eyeballs working on things I have been putting off. In the mood so getting them done. Warranty processing sux though...

It is morning, it is going to be sunny. I see the joint was closed for a couple days. Got some new paint on the walls and some other changes.
So, Donuts and coffee!

I thought something looked different . Love the red velvet chairs and topless women waitesses. But coffee at $10 a cup seems high ????? Good though :)

WEll its clear here this morning ....... I have no idea how long that will last . Going to spend the day in the barn preparing for a huge yard sale friday and Saturday . Gotta get this crap outta here !

Crazy storms for sure. Glad you are okay Jeremy.
They came our way but had fizzled out by the time they got to Ohio (thank goodness).

Post some pictures.

I'm sure you have some stuff I need. Just don't tell my wife I'm bringing home more stuff, I'm supposed to be cleaning out my place too!

Y'know, Jim, a few collectors of antique stationary engines have a little trick they pull.

Their wives get a bit annoyed when they bring another one home to join the many that already reside in their barn. So, when they do buy another one, they stash it at a buddy's place until such time as The Little Woman ain't home. Then, they bring 'em home, put 'em in the barn. Wife asks about that engine and they'll say; "Oh, hell! I've had that one quite a while!"

You might modify that 'un for your situation, hmmm???

I have a pretty good deal with my wife.

I can trade for anything I want, only condition is that whatever comes in the door is smaller than what's leaving! :whistling:

the yard sale is this weekend and by the time it gets here there won't be much left . I bet the wife so over a $1000 today and we are not even open .

Good tired morning to all. Got blasted out of bed about 1 am by nasty storms. Dogs woke me as the thunder shook the windows and hail was bouncing off the glass. That is twice this week my sleep has been interrupted.:wtf:
Just set more tomatoes out and transplanted beets and some other things in the garden yesterday. Will have to see what is left this morning.

OMG ! I hurt everywhere ! Spent the last few days putting in a new kitchen at the local VWF . Finished up last night . I am so tired of crawling on my hands and knees adjusting and hooking up sinks .

I need Coffee ,,,, lots and lots of coffee
Now its raining again . I AM REALLY HATING THIS WEATHER .

Sounds like you need a good pair of knee pads Al. Even with those as we get older it's harder and harder to do that kind of work. :hide:

Sunshine here. I mowed last night and was able to mow parts of the yard that I haven't been able to mow all year due to water standing there. All dried up now. Must have been 9 or 10 days without the R word. And our weekend looks purrrr-fect. Hoping to get the houseboat launched later today. With a little luck we'll get er done. :D

Beautiful here as well. 70's and a nice breeze.

Kids are racing soapbox derby this Saturday. It's going to be near 90 which makes it very hard on us older people (the car handlers who are always carrying the cars and walking up and down the 1/4 mile track.

Fixed it for you!:D

I brewed coffee with the door and windows open. Maybe the aroma will draw someone in, this morning. Donuts are on the counter.
Gonna be a bit warmish, today, looking for 80.

Good morning, Everybody!

Morning folks! Hannah's first softball games were last night. They went 1 and 1 in a double headed against 2 different teams. That first game was the first softball game Hannah had ever lost.

I hope you got a shipment of cool air to send east! Calling for 95 and muggy today and tomorrow. I worked in the garden most of the day yesterday and it was hot as hell. The clay ground has gone from smeary wet to baked pottery in record time. Actually had to run the sprinkler last night for the stuff we are transplanting. When I finish the corn planting it will need water to germinate. Had to run tiller twice to chop up the ground it got so hard and stayed in bigger chunks. Some of our tomatoes are showing signs of blossom rot already.:frown: The extremely long wet weather has made this a tough year for gardening and farming. Everyone is trying to get corn planted and make hay at the same time.

Good Morning Bill ,

Well its raining here today so I am going to spend the entire day down in the shop putting away the last few things we moved up from California . Pick up more 3/4 plywood and 3 sheets of heavy wall pegboard . I should end up with 16 more feet of a work and tool bench in front of my 4 post lift . I hate not being able to find all my tools so all the big stuff like pullers , pry bars , big ass hammers will go on the peg wall in their own little spot .

I have never owned a shop this complete so it should be a real joy to work in .

I know .....I am bad . I have posted pics before and would really like to have it all finished, painted and tools on the walls before I post any more .The big 5 horse air compressor is in its own room so its nice and quiet .The guys are coming tomorrow to do some more Interior Insulation and wall sheating work . I plann to start building my new work benches . Then I can set up my 4 post car lift and start getting things in order . I started hanging up all my garden tools, rakes , pitch forks and so forth . I have a 60' wall to hang them on with a peg every 10" . It looks like the whole wall will be needed for all the hand tools !!!

I priced the steel I beam for my gantry crane that will travel the lenght of 1/2 of the shop .......Holy cow !!!! Steel has gone up !!! No more heavy lifting for me !!:blueblob:
