Rusty needs to get his water wings attached right quick to make it home today. Not looking good down there as this storm moves in. I plan on sitting here and only going out to gas up the car in a little while.
Wonder how Rusty is doing. They are still getting rain down there. I know they had an army of utility workers already staged at the local fairgrounds with kitchen and refueling set up for the workers and vehicles.
We got out relativley unscathed here at home, but as you probably know already they got destroyed on the coast. 'Nother one coming around to hammer them again, and could dump a bunch of snow on me, too.
Ain't gonna happen. Was planning to put snows on both cars this year. That is, of course, not going to happen now after dropping a grand into the Taurus in October.
Looks like most of the snow hugged the coast. Phila. is the hub for 1/2 the flights from Elmira so they were announcing the airport delays at 6 am for down there. Did you get any?
Not yet, but it's-a comin', son. Advisories and hazardous weather outlooks galore. Fun starts around evening time, I say. Temps took a pretty big drop from what was forecasted a couple days back.
