Wow, that looks to be in great shape. How many miles on that?

I have a 2014 Goldwing and love it. I had now owned a bike in years. Wife was dead against it. But she saw a trike last August and said that looks like fun. LOL That was all the nudge I needed. I started shopping and found this one. So far we've mainly rode the roads around south eastern Ohio. The triple nickel and lots of others. Beautiful area to ride. Where bouts do you ride?

68,000 miles I got it at a drug seizure auction I need to get the air bags somebody took them off the compressor and lines are there I live in northeast Tn and a lot of great riding here and you found a beautiful trike and I guess your wife is happy

Good deal. Before I bought I had my eye on a 1989 Goldwing. 144k miles. The miles concerned me so I asked around and comments were that the Goldwings will go and go. 144k is nothing to worry about if the bike is in good shape and shows it's been taken care of. Then the night before i was scheduled to look at it the seller marked it as sold. Somebody beat me to it. So, I splurged on the 2014 with only 10k miles. It had 13k now. From August to Oct we put 3k on it.

I don't believe mine had air bags. Sounds like a good feature but I suspect expensive to replace. Is dragons back close to you? I was hoping to make it down that way next spring or summer to ride some of the Smokey mountains.

The dragon is about 65 miles from me but there are a lot of nut jobs on it Cherohala skyway is so much nicer with overlooks to stop at we went over the dragon and down to the skyway and came back to Tn on that

Nice. I just checked it out on google maps.
We have a cabin reserved in Feb for a family visit to Gatlinburg / Pigeon forge area. We love visiting there. And we usually dirve over to Cherokee just for the views. Now that we have a trike I'll be looking at the roads for what ones will be fun on the trike.

How long have you been riding? Is this your first trike?

Motorcycles 52 years and mini bikes in the pine barrens of NJ for a couple years before that and yes my first Trike I did ride my buddies a couple of times he had a Goldwing 1100 Lehman and a early Honda service trike I try to stay out of Gatlinburg to many people and to much traffic there is a great restaurant in Pigion forge it’s called Applewood farmhouse resturant it’s on applevalley rd

I started out with mini bikes. Moved on to trail bikes and small motorcycles IE; 350 Honda. Had more trouble keeping them running than anything. Then when I got married wife had lost a step brother due to a blow out on his bike so she was deathly afraid of them and against me getting one. So, I bought other toys. I am shocked at how much she loves riding our trike. Awesome.

I agree about to many people but our grown kids and grand kids love it so, we rent a nice cabin and put up with 4 days of madness. Alpine coaster in Pigeon forge is fun. The new open ride to the top in Gatlinburg is very kewl to. The moon shine places can be fun. LOL Will be sure to look up Applewood farmhouse. We might have eaten there already, not sure, but I cannot remember all the restaurant names.

My mother said I was not allowed to get a bike and we had a camper in the pine barrens of Nj and my agents went down for the weekend and I went up and bought a 350 Suzuki and the guy would not sell it to me untill I could prove I could handle it there was a field behind the dealership and we went out there and I took some jumps so I got it took it home and put the helmet in the middle of the living room mom would not talk to me for a day dad wanted to see it and took the keys and went for a ride I did not know he rode harleys in North Africa during WW2

Wow. Cool story. That is awesome!!!!!!!
Thank you for joining. I'm working to get a few more on here but so far they are no shows. I hope our conversation will prompt some to join as they see it's not a dead site.
