1958 Olds Dynamic 88

My Mom had a pink 1958 Super 88 when I was in high school. I hated to be seen in that thing. It would run like a scalded cat though. It seemed fine when Dad first got it only a little over 2 years old. It had a cracked block. He took the 371 out and installed a 1961 394 out of a wreck.

Seems like the lower model was a Rocket 88 back then. I think the Dynamic 88 label came along later, early 60's maybe??

I'll trump your avanti with this:

OK,
I am glad to see a Studebaker here! Always been a fan, especially of the Hawks! I have had a couple of Larks but never a Hawk....yet

There's definitely more that I think are awesome, but these are just the ones that came to mind first.

That green on kinda reminds me of your dads old Duster. I'm sure you've heard stories about that car. :D

I knew it was a Challenger or a Charger!!!! :D But still .....it is close to the same year model as the duster and it reminded me o fit. Geez. :yum:

Plus, it's Dodge Charger and Plymouth Challenger. :yankchain: :yum:

:D GNITE!

Damn. I was sure Plymouth made a Challenger. I just double checked and I was wrong. :hide:

Guess this shows, I've never been a mopar guy.

well if you think about it, the plymouth barracuda/dodge challenger is the same damn car basically, just like ford mustang/mercury cougar and chevy camaro/pontiac firebird.
